For many years, I belonged to the category of people who either invested in top-quality mattresses or clung to their old ones indefinitely. Recently, I made the decision to retire my 22-year-old mattress. Despite attributing my morning stiffness and discomfort (that I put down to stress and a lack of bodywork), the time had come for a change.

The long-awaited day arrived when my new mattress was delivered. As I dismantled my old one, it became apparent just how deteriorated it had become. With the arrival of the new, firmer mattress, the anticipation of a restful night's sleep grew.
The difference between my old mattress and the new, firmer one was immediately noticeable. Waking up without pelvic pain, feeling relief in my neck, shoulders, and arms, I realized the profound impact of mattress firmness on body posture.
